July Recap – Lighting Up Slow Months and Looking Ahead
Just getting started with our monthly blog posts! We’re using this format to keep friends, family, and future customers updated — and to give Google something to chew on. (Also so I can stop repeating myself every time someone asks, "What’ve you been working on?" Looking at you, Mimi.)
⚡ July in Review
This month has been SLOOOOOOWWW — but sometimes that’s not a bad thing. The upside? There’s a ton of work lining up for the coming weeks.
July was 99% commercial electrical work, mostly LED lighting upgrades. Two of our main clients just can’t get enough of the transformation new lighting brings. We always say that new lighting is contagious — once one office gets an upgrade, the rest follow. The difference is dramatic, and until you see it in person, it’s hard to grasp just how much it changes a space.
🔌 Service Calls
Outside of commercial jobs, we knocked out about 20 service calls — around 15 for new customers and 5 from returning ones. Honestly, there’s nothing more rewarding than getting a call from a repeat customer, or hearing someone say, “Hey, I got your name from a friend.” Word-of-mouth is still king.
🚧 What’s Next?
We’ve got three temporary power poles set for custom home construction — which means August is likely to be a whole different kind of busy. And of course, the last-minute service calls always find a way to show up.
Whether it's panel upgrades, new construction wiring, or commercial lighting retrofits, Ironclad Electric is gearing up for a big second half of the year. Thanks for following along!
Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.
